Payment is done through Paypal Invoicing.

All prices are in USD.

Payment is upfront after accepting your commission request. I will send an invoice to the Paypal email provided and expect payment within 24-72 hours. Lack of response will result in cancellation of the slot.

Generally speaking I do not do holds for more than 3 days regarding commissions. This can be discussed.

I do not offer refunds for completed commissions.

Partial refund can be arranged for commissions depending on what stage of completion it is at. This is discussed on a case by case basis.

I do not accept any refunds on a character design commissions within 72 hours of receiving the completed file. When a design is refunded, I regain all rights of the design, and it will be resold.

I do not offer refunds for one off design sales.

Please contact me first regarding refunds. Instigating a refund or dispute through Paypal will result in a soft blacklist. I am happy to try and work through all kinds of situations and circumstances when contacted first.

Do not claim my art as your own.

Do not trace, alter, repost my work without my consent (this includes watermarks). The only exception to alterations is for character design/adoptables (see below)

Commissioned work can be uploaded wherever, but please credit me where able. I can be credited on Toyhouse using the on-site feature.

I reserve the right to upload completed commission work to my social media and portfolio, UNLESS asked during the commission process to keep it private.

Commercial use of my artwork either existing or commissioned must be discussed first. Only commissioned artwork (not personal art I post of my own designs/characters) can be for personal use, and not for profit (e.g. giving out stickers).

My art is not to be used in the training or development of AI or any such AI related matters.

For any design made by me either pre-made (adoptables), customs (commission work), giveaways, etc you own the character rights as long as you own the design.

You may use the design itself for profit purposes. Note: this does not extend to the original art made by me. New art of the design can be used in merch (stickers, prints, keyrings), fursuits (original art as the concept to be made a custom or create it as a premade to be sold), personal projects/stories, indie games, etc so long as that credit in the original sale listing or other such credit is given. This can simply be 'character design originally by cowboyology'.

If the design is used for a large scale project, I may ask for an additional commercial fee and/or royalties to be discussed on a case by case basis.

You can change the design however you want. This includes alteration to the original design image (hue shifts, marking changes, hair, etc). You can claim credit for edits done but not the design itself.

You can trade, gift or re-sell a design purchased from me. Re-sale price should not be more than what was originally paid unless additional art has been commissioned or made by the seller, and preferably not if the design was obtained in a trade or gifted.

I won't enforce the above as it's not a good use of my time/energy, but please be mindful and respectful of myself and other artists who may be against increased resale value based on their art/purchased commissions.

Co-ownership is allowed.

I do not settle any future ownership disputes unrelated to my initial sale and/or transfer.

I retain the right to revoke ownership of designs under certain conditions. These include having not received original payment for the design or if I received a chargeback through Paypal. While I don't revoke designs for breaking TOS, I may privately blacklist instead.
